Makes 11 dozen small cookies
For larger cookies the baking time is longer.

Ingredients 
1 cup butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla 
3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda 
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup corn flakes, lightly crushed to less than 1/2" pieces 
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions 
Preheat oven to 350F.
In large mixer bowl cream butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar.  Add egg, oil and vanilla.  Mix well.
In medium bowl add flour, baking soda and salt. Stir to combine. Add flour mixture to creamed mixture and mix well. 
In another medium bowl add corn flakes and lightly crush. Add oats, coconut and pecans to corn flakes and gently stir. Add to creamed mixture and stir until blended.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in preheated 350 F oven for 8 to 9 minutes. Remove from pan after a couple of minutes and dry on cooling rack. 

Note: Cookies are small. If the small cookies are hard to handle try using your hands to shape the dough. Gently shape the dough in your hands to form a ball, place on cookie sheet and press down lightly to flatten cookie dough.
