Strawberry Compote |
Ingredients
Strawberries
Sugar
Small mason jars, approximately 250 ml (8.5 oz)
Instructions
Wash and dry strawberries and mason jars. Slice strawberries and stuff them inside clean mason jars. Add one tablespoon of sugar on top of strawberries for a small jar. Seal jar. Store in refridgerator. After a day you can start eating your compote. Once opened eat within a week and the rest will keep for a maximum of 2 months. Compote doesn't keep as long as jam but has less calories.
