Ingredients
I to 2 lb lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 slices of bread
1 egg
1/4 cup milk, approximately
Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
A bit of paprika
Topping
1/4 cup Ketchup, approximately
A bit of brown sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
In a large bowl, put 2 slices of bread, with or without crusts. Cover with 1/4 cup of milk and add the egg. Let the bread get soft and then mix the mixture until the bread falls apart.
Add ground beef, onions, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika. Mix well.
Put meat mixture in a small loaf pan. Pat down lightly. Top with ketchup and a sprinkle of brown sugar.
Bake at 350 degrees until done, 45 minutes for a small meatloaf.
Leftover Meatloaf can be frozen.
Optional:
Instead of bread, use oatmeal soaked in milk for 10 minutes.
Decorate top of meatloaf with red pepper slices before baking.
