Ingredients


2 beaten eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp cinnamon​
4 slices of bread
2 tablespoon butter or margarine
Maple syrup

Instructions

In a shallow bowl beat​ together eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Dip bread slices into egg mixture, coating both sides.

In a skillet or a griddle melt 1 tablespoon of butter or margarine over medium heat; add half the bread slices and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Repeat with remaining butter or margarine and bread slices. Serve warm with maple syrup.

Hint: I like using stale bread or cinnamon bread.
