Brown Quail or Cornish Hen

Ingredients
2 quails or one Cornish hen
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup of white wine
1/2 cup cold water
one small onion
1 cube Knorr chicken (or OXO chicken cube)
2 tsp. of cognac
Fennels, optional

Instructions
Cook the quail in a frying pan until browned; add salt and pepper.
Add white wine, cold water, onion, Knorr chicken cube(OXO cube) and cognac. Bring to a boil, then simmer covered for 20-30 minutes or until meat is cooked. Add fennels, optional.
