1 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
½ cup milk
½ cup water
Fish fillets, cod, or other fish, 4 to 6 oz per serving
Lemon, cut in wedges
Instructions
Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add milk and water slowly and beat until batter is smooth.
Cut fish in serving pieces. If fish is frozen, partially thaw before dipping or frying.
Dip fish pieces in batter and deep fry at 375 F until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes or more.
Drain and serve hot. Serve with lemon wedges.
