Lucien Legault
Ingredients2 tablespoons flour
3 tablespoons (or less) vinegar
1/4 tsp. turmeric (or less)
¼ tsp. salt
A sprinkle of pepper
2 tablespoons dry mustard
4 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tsp. of cold water approximately (You may also add more or less sugar or substitute sugar with honey.)
Instructions
Stir ingredients until smooth in a small bowl. Let mustard sit for a few hours, it will thicken. Place in a jar and store in the fridge. Ready to use in a couple of days.
This mustard should taste sweet; do not add too much dry mustard or turmeric.
Variation: Instead, buy your sweet mustard; try Schneider's Oktoberfest mustard.
