Ingredients1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup dark corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 cup pecan halves
1-9inch unbaked pastry shell
Instructions
Cream butter until softened. Add sugar gradually and cream till fluffy. Add syrup and salt; beat well. Add eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each. Stir in pecans. Pour into unbaked pastry shell.
Bake in moderate oven 350F 50 minutes. Pie is done when knife inserted halfway between outside and center of filling comes out clean. Cool before serving.
