Shrimp

Serves 2 to 4

Ingredients
Water
Salt, optional
1 lb. deveined large shrimps
Lettuce leaves for decorations

Instructions
Add water to saucepan, almost full. Bring water to a boil.  You can use salt in the water.  Drop shrimps in hot water. Lower heat and simmer for 3-5 minutes. Shrimps will turn pink and come to the surface, about 2 minutes. Do not overcook.
Drain immediately and cool. Decorate a platter with lettuce leaves and place cold shrimp on top.  You may remove the shells before serving or let your family remove their own shells.  Refrigerate.
Serve cold with seafood sauce for dipping.

Note:  When buying your shrimps you should ask if they can be boiled.  Some of the large tiger shrimps should be fried or cooked on a grill.
