Spaghetti Sauce:
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion chopped

1 clove garlic minced
2 5-1/2 oz cans tomato paste
3 cups water
1 or 2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. pepper
Spaghetti
Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Cook beef lightly; drain fat. Add onions and garlic; cook until soft. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer uncovered 1 hour. Serve over cooked spaghetti or your favorite pasta. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Sauces freezes well.
Variations: Add black olives, mushrooms, chopped tomato, chopped zucchini or other vegetables to this sauce to vary the recipe. Also try different spices or leave out the basil and sugar if you find the sauce too sweet. Recipe may be double or triple and can be simmered uncovered in the oven in any oven dish. Kitchen will smell great. You may also omit the hamburger for variety.
