Ingredients
Base:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1/3 cup raspberry jam
Filling:
1 250 gram pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
Topping:
3 cups apples, peeled ;and sliced thin, about 6 medium apples
1/3 cups white or brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 cup sliced almonds
Instructions
Base: Cream butter and sugar together. Blend in flour.
Press into bottom and 1 1/2 inches up side of 8 1/2-inch spring form pan.
Spread jam over crust.
Filling: Beat the filling ingredients together until smooth and light. Spread over jam.
Topping: Toss apples in sugar and cinnamon mix to coat well and spoon over filling. Sprinkle with almonds.
Bake at 450 F for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 400 F for 25 to 30 minutes or until set and apples are tender. Cool slightly.
