Bird Nests

Ingredients
3 cups rice crispy cereal
1 cup of shredded coconut
1/3 cup light corn syrup
½ cup brown sugar
¾ cup of peanut butter
1 tsp.vanilla
Jelly beans or small pastel colored Easter eggs

Instructions
Combine in a bowl the rice crispy cereal and shredded coconut, put cereal mixture aside. Ask your parents to help you bring to a boil on the stove the following: light corn syrup, brown sugar and peanut butter. After the sugar mixture boils, add vanilla.  Add the cereal and coconut mixture. Let it cool a while. Shape into bird nests and fill with jelly beans or small pastel colored Easter eggs.
