Ingredientsl can sweetened condensed milk
2 cups milk
2 eggs
125 grams flaked coconut, 1 package
Dark chocolate to taste, at least 70% chocolate
Instructions
Mix the sweet milk and the regular milk together; add the eggs and beat. Add the coconut. Pour in a buttered baking dish or small casserole pan.
Bake in a bain-marie; place the coconut dish in a large pan with about 1-inch of water in the bottom before placing in the oven. This will ensure that the cake does not cook too quickly and that the bottom does not burn while cooking.
Bake at 350 F for 40 to 45 minutes.
Melt chocolate just before cake is done. Pour melted chocolate over the cake when it is removed from the oven. Cool before serving.
Hints:
You can use your broiling pan for the water. By placing the casserole in water before placing in the oven.
If you do not have the dark chocolate called for in the recipe, you can use unsweetened pure chocolate chips.
