Sugarless Fruit and Nut Muffins

Ingredients
1 cup chopped dates
1/2 cup chopped prunes
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup water

1/2 cup margarine
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup chopped nuts pecans

Instructions
In saucepan bring to a boil dates, prunes, raisins and water. Boil for 5 minutes.
Stir in margarine and salt into fruit mixture. Cool, then add remaining ingredients to fruit. Stir until moistened. Spoon batter in muffin tins Bake muffins 350 F for 15 to 20 minutes.

Variation:
Cake: Pour batter in 11X7-inch pan. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes.
