Biscuits fresh from the oven |
Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
4 tsps baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar
3/4 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup olive oil
1 cup milk
Instructions
In the large bowl stir in dry ingredients with spoon. Stir in oil, then milk. Stir just until moistened. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Flatten biscuit dough. Bake at 450 F oven for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown. Serve immediately.
Hint: Use ice cream scoop to drop dough onto ungreased baking sheet, then flatten biscuit dough with the bottom of a flat glass.
