Chocolate Ganache

Ganache for one cake or brownies

Chocolate Ganache on cake
Ingredients
1 cup of Nestle dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup half/half cream
1 pinch salt

Instructions
Melt chocolate chips in microwave 1 min. Repeat if necessary.  Stir until smooth.
Stir cream and salt mixing a couple of minutes until smooth and thicken. Cool cake or brownies approximately 15 min. Then puncture holes with toothpick. Top with Ganache.

I get a lot of compliments on this chocolate and whipped cream filling or topping. It stays a bit tacky.
