Spiced Cranberry Sauce

Makes 2 cups, approximately

Spiced Cranberry Sauce


Ingredients
1 bag of fresh cranberries or approximately 4 cups
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/2 teaspoon of ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions
Place cranberries, sugar, water and spices in a medium saucepan. Stir. Cook over medium heat. Cook until cranberries begin to burst, about 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and use potato masher to mash cranberries.
Ladle into serving bowl. Serve warm.
Refrigerate or freeze leftovers in serving size containers.

Serve with chicken or turkey
