Beef Barley Soup prepared vegetables |
Ingredients
1 ½ lb beef cubes
Oil
2 onions, diced
2 carrots, chopped
2 celery stalk, chopped
4 garlic gloves, minced
1 green pepper, chopped
1 ½ cup green beans, chopped
8 cups broth
1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
1 cup barley
2 rosemary sprigs
2 thyme sprigs
2 oregano sprigs
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In large pot,brown beef in oil for 5 minutes and set aside.
Cook onions, carrots and green peppers for 4 minutes. Add
carrots and green beans and cook for an additional 3 minutes. Add rest of ingredients. Bring to a boil then
simmer one hour.
