Cranberry Sauce

Makes 2 cups

Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients
2 cups of sugar
1 cup of water
juice of one orange
3 strips of orange rind
4 cups of cranberries

Instructions
Combine sugar, water, orange juice and rind in a large saucepan. Stir until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cook uncovered for 5 minutes. Add cranberries and continue cooking for 20 minutes or until berries have popped and mixture is slightly thickened. Remove orange rind. Make the day before using.


Hint: Great with turkey anytime, especially at Thanksgiving.
