Makes 1 cup approximately
2/3 cup soya sauce
¼ cup water or dry sherry
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tsp ground ginger or 6 tsp. fresh ginger, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions
Combine all ingredients and add to beef strips. Marinade for 30 minutes or a bit longer.
Use to marinade steak or beef strips.
Quick Stir Fry
To make a quick stir fry, remove marinaded beef strips from the marinade. Fry beef in oil until cooked. Add marinade sauce to the beef and add cut up vegetables. Stir for a couple of minutes. Add a bit of water and cover with a lid. Let the vegetables steam for 2-4 minutes or until done. Serve with rice. Vegetables to use: carrot sliced on diagonal, onions, mushrooms and snow peas.
