Caramel Frosting

Makes enough frosting for one cake

Ingredients
½ cup butter
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup milk
1 ¾ to 2 cups sifted icing sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions
Melt butter in a small saucepan.  Add brown sugar and cook until the sugar melts; stir in milk.  Cool.
Beat in enough icing sugar to make a good spreading consistency.  Add vanilla.
