Preheat oven to 350 F.
Base: Mix and pat in the bottom of a square 9 inch by 9 inch baking pan.
Topping: Beat eggs, mix in remaining topping ingredients. Pour on top of base. Bake at 350 F for 25 to 30 minutes.

Hint: Add a quarter cup of chopped pecans and substitute cherries with other chopped died fruit or a mix of dried fruit. A good mix of chopped dried fruit is apricots, cranberries and cherries.
