Maple Pecan Pie

Maple Pecan Pie

Ingredients
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1 tablespoon flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup dark maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla
3 eggs
1 cup pecan halves

1-9inch unbaked pastry shell

Instructions
Cream butter until softened. Add sugar gradually and cream till fluffy. Add syrup and salt; beat well. Add eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each. Stir in pecans. Pour into unbaked pastry shell in glass pie pan.
Bake in moderate oven 350F 50 minutes. Pie is done when knife inserted halfway between outside and center of filling comes out clean. Cool before serving.
