Broiled Tuna Steak

Serves 1-2
Great with Rice Side Dish recipe. Use leftover tuna to make Tuna Burgers.

Broiled Tuna Steak


Ingredients
1 tuna steak – fresh, 1” thick
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp spice mix, such as Old Bay Spice
¼ tsp parsley

Instructions
Marinate tuna in olive oil and spices for 1 hour in pan in fridge.
Preheat broiler at low setting and take tuna out of fridge while broiler is warming. Place foil on top of broiler pan or cookie sheet and place tuna on top. Cook tuna for 6 minutes on second oven rack. Reduce oven to 350F and cook for 20 minutes longer or until tuna is still slight pink in the centre.
Serve with tartar sauce, vegetables and rice.
