Delicious chocolate pudding.

Ingredients
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
¼ cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
⅔ cup granulated sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
⅛ teaspoon salt
2 cups 2% milk
1 cup half and half cream
2 large egg yolks
Instructions
In 8 or 10 cup saucepan.
Measure butter, chocolate chips and vanilla. Set aside.
Split eggs and beat egg yolk with whisk. Set aside.
In medium saucepan, mix sugar, cornstarch, cocoa powder and salt. Slowly add milk and cream. Add the egg yolks with whisk. Continue whisking on medium heat until it bubbles. Simmer two minutes.
When mixture thickens it will stick to whisk. Remove from heat, add the butter mixture. Mix until blended.
Pour into individual serving dishes or in a large bowl. Cover with wrap and cool refrigerated for a couple of hours.
Serve with variations of chocolate pieces, whipping cream, chopped almonds or crushed cookies.
