| Fruit Crumble Dessert |
Ingredients
3 to 4 cups fresh or frozen mixed fruit
Approximately 1 tablespoon flour
Crumble Topping ingredients
1/3 cup regular brown sugar, or less if using Splenda brown sugar.
½ cup flour
½ cup Quaker large flake oats or rolled oats
1/4 cup butter
I tsp cinnamon
Topping: Cool Whip or other whipped topping, optional
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F.
Place fruit in a bowl i.e. strawberries, blueberries and blackberries. Sprinkle approximately 1 tablespoon of flour to fruit and toss until fruit is coated in flour.
Place fruit in bottom of a square 8" x 8" glass baking pan.
Crumble Topping Instructions
In a mixing bowl blend topping ingredients until mixture is crumbly.
Spread the crumble topping evenly over fruit.
Bake at 350 F for 35 to 40 minutes until the topping is golden brown. Frozen fruit will take longer to bake.
Serve warm with Cool Whip topping or serve plain.
Tips:
Use frozen fruit mixture in freezer section. Cut larger strawberries in half. Baking will be take longer.
You can sprinkle some extra cinnamon on top of pan before putting in the oven.
