Mini Peanut Butter with Chocolate on Top Cookies

Ingredients 
1⁄2 cup butter or margarine
3⁄4 cup peanut butter
1⁄3 cup white sugar
1⁄3 cup packed light brown sugar
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
1⁄2 tsp baking soda
1⁄2 tsp salt
Topping ingredients:
1⁄3 cup white sugar for rolling
1 1⁄3 cups or one bag Chipits mini chocolate kisses 

Directions
Preheat oven to 350F.
In large mixing bowl cream shortening and peanut butter together. Add white and brown sugar and beat well. Add egg, milk and vanilla and beat until well mixed.
In small bowl add flour, baking soda and salt. Stir. Slowly add flour to peanut butter mixture. Beat until blended. 
Make 3/4 inch dough balls. Add topping sugar to a small bowl. Roll dough ball into white sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350F oven for 5 to 6 minutes. Remove baking sheet from oven, immediately press one Chipits mini chocolate kiss in centre of each cookie. Move cookies to cooling 

Freezes well. Serve directly from freezer.

  1. Joanne my friend who gave me this recipe says she uses half chocolate chips and M&M. She likes to eat them frozen.
